Food Graveyards

There is one undeniable truth to Baby Led Weaning. A lot will end on the floor, despite the valiant efforts of all involved.

Today, I watched the Wee One chase a piece a kiwi fruit around her highchair and onto her leg, get it in her mouth, only to drop it again and this time it went directly onto the floor.

We had the same performance with some fusilli pasta. Every bit of it ended up on the floor. I'm not sure if any was actually swallowed, tomorrow's 2 o'clock poo shall tell.

The Wee One's pincer grip is coming on a treat with a good attempt made at squished peas. I can't deny just how proud I am of her.
